The directory “C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.8.0” is right, installer
puts M0 there with the default settings.
Wondering, did you choose it, or did the program suggest it?
Log from the binary zip trial is in the attachment.
From the log:
"Found System environment variable GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR set to C:\Program
Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.8.0\data_dir , but this path does not exist"
Hum... was the installation incomplete, it seems the data dir is not there?
Everything went downhill from there it seems
