[Geoserver-devel] Adding community module

Hello my name is Jeffrey Taylor and I am emailing you on behalf of Moebius Solutions Inc regarding adding a new community module. The function of the code is to build sha-1 checksums for features and then build a tree of the checksums to allow a client to figure out what is not synchronized.

Thank you for your time,

Hey Jeffrey.

Sounds like a very cool module. Getting a community module is pretty easy. Easiest would be to prepare a pull request that one of the committers can merge in.

If you hope to push it past community module and to full extension status there are a few more requirements such as test coverage, ensuring the module has a maintainer, and signing a contributor agreement. You can read more about the process here.
