Dear All,
I am sending this email as I wanted to advertise our incoming training
on GeoServer in Milan on the GeoServer's blog,
along the line of this post that was put up in December:
http://blog.geoserver.org/2012/11/12/geoserver-trainings/
If there are no objections we'll draft up something similar.
Regards,
Simone Giannecchini

That sounds great, Simone.
Training sessions promote awareness of GeoServer and its community. One issue is that of quality; we might not be able to accept all requests for advertising and probably need a process. Probably what you did: ask on the list and get support from a PSC member. The process should be on the agenda of the next committee meeting.
Kind regards,
Ben.

I've put a draft here (still not published):
http://blog.geoserver.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=1406&action=edit&message=10
One thing that I've noticed is that the GeoServer own training page is
not linked from the home page,
which is a pity.
At the same time, the side bar does not seem to be editable. I guess
it's part of the theme?
Looked into it, but the active them cannot be edited.
Anybody knows more?
Cheers
Andrea
