[Geoserver-devel] any news from the code sprint?

Or are we supposed to read the commit list :wink:

Have fun everyone;

The guys from GeoSolutions are unbeatable... i think Simone is cheating ;).

But yeah, things are going good. We are making headway. Having Rollie (the designer) here has been great for nailing down workflow type stuff. Andrea has been working mostly on a fancy data store / resource tree and its looking pretty good.

David and Chris have been doing on resource and service editing screens, duplicating some of the stuff what we have today. Gabriel has been working on DataStore type wizard stuff. He put together nice auto generating form which duplicates our current data store editor.

I have mostly been putting the bits and pieces together. Working with Rollie getting styles going, and figuring out how to do i18n.

All in all going well. Check out the commit logs for more info. Or update and try to run the web2 community module at your own risk ;).

FYI, we have a page going to track some of this stuff:

http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/New+user+interface

Of most interest are the UI mockups and the workflow diagrams. Enjoy.
