Jenkins was hung up on the unknown task again this morning so I disconnected and reconnected slave-1 and it seems happier, but I never seem to see more than one job running, is that right?

Pretty much, most projects are linked by snapshots and we cannot replace them while another job
running uses them.
So GeoTools/GeoServer/GeoWebCache are in the same build group, and only one of them runs
at the same time.
The CITE tests could be running in parallel though… but we should check they are not opening a port on 8080,
otherwise some half-online tests in GeoServer would fail…

The only jobs that can really run in parallel with other jobs are the doc builds; everything else is pretty strictly locked into workspaces so as to not cause maven conflicts (or port conflicts). (There are a couple other exceptions for some of the plugin-specific test builds)
If I remember correctly, the cite tests run a geoserver binary on 8080, so that will probably cause issues.
