[Geoserver-devel] ApplicationResources_fr.properties

Hi all,

As I'm deploying Geoserver to test the web configuration application, I have
made a translation of the ApplicationResources in french. So, there it is.

Thanks that is great! We are in Canada so french is especially appreciated. We are still in the throws of debugging GeoServer as we speak (1.1 was the last stable release, and cvs currently does not even attempt to be stable, actually it is rather unbalanced).

What this means is the ApplicationResources.properties file will be having new entries added to it.

But still this will allow GeoServer to present its user interface in french!

Most real error messages (and the descriptions for DataStore connection parameters) come from the geotools2 library. It has recently had a taste of internationalization support, but this has not yet extended into the relm of connection parameters.

Once again thanks so much!

Fortunately, that file also easily supports internationalization! (Same
convention, just translate it and add "_fr" to the end)

Thanks to Jody and you, but it's just about nothing to translate, while coding
is the real great job !-)

if it's just the value attribute of the putList tags, it's done !-)

By the way, I have modified the ApplicationResources_fr.properties by changing
the raw french caracters (the file has been edited under Linux) with HTML
entities (the first release was not well read under Windows --thanks to Jean
David Techer--). I have applied the change to tiles-def_fr.xml too.

If there are mistakes or problems in the files, don't hesite,

In the version I am working on now, all of the page titles are included in the
tiles-def.xml, so they will need to be translated once I'm done =)

Great. I have added them into the CVS!

Thanks again,

Richard
