[Geoserver-devel] Artifactory repo downtime

Hello all,

I wanted to schedule some downtime on repo.boundlessgeo.com in order to increase disk space to the instance. I would like to plan for a two hour window to do this in the next coming days. Would evenings my time, EST, work for everyone or would it be better to do this over the weekend?

Thanks,
Chris

Friday we have the bug stomp sprint, so maybe not that day.
Besides that, evening EST is fine by me (sleeping during those hours), the
guys in Victoria might
like it less :-p

Hi all,

The Artifactory server is back online.

I was unable to increase the disk space on the instance as the snapshot creation process took a lot longer than anticipated. I will need a larger maintenance window in order to get this done.

Is there a possibility to have Artifactory down for about 5 hours? If so, what day would be ideal?

Regards,
Chris

This evening should be fine. Don't mind me! I have an extensive local Maven repo and can run offline if necessary. However, Travis CI for new pull requests will start failing while Artifactory is down.

If everything goes well with the server maintenance, then we will have the new repo ready for the things that we would like to avoid interrupting:

(1) GeoTools GeoServer MiniSprint scheduled for Friday 22 July

(2) GeoTools 15.1 / GeoServer 2.9.1 release scheduled for 18 July (but held for a few security fixes)

Kind regards,
Ben.
