[Geoserver-devel] Backporting filter reprojection code to GeoTools

Hi,
I'm trying to fix a bug in SLD spatial filter that would need some code
backporting to GeoTools.

Basically spatial filters embedded in SLD or anyways sent down to the renderer
via CQL_FILTER are, at the time of writing, crs unaware, which means they
need to be expressed in the same CRS as the data... which makes the life
of the client hard, especially so if you are dealing with a map that
combines different layers in different CRSs.

So I would like to port back to GeoTools (2.7.x, stable series) the
ReprojectingFilterVisitor and the DefaultCRSFilterVisitor that we already
use with success in GeoServer WFS (and then use them inside the
renderer).

Any objection?

Cheers
Andrea
