[Geoserver-devel] Branching off a new trunk

Hi,
since we have basically released already the RC for both GeoTools and GeoServer,
isn’t it time to branch off a new trunk?

Shall we branch off first and switch to github later, or wait for a full github switch?

Cheers
Andrea

I was going to wait for the final release, and then switch to github ( and search and replace “trunk” “master” in the docs).

No strong opinion here. I think the full transition to github is still a little ways away, i know i have been lagging my feet. I still need to contact github to see about a free organization account. Will do that now.

Unless someone needs trunk open for development i would say we could potentially wait until the github switch is completed.
