[Geoserver-devel] Building/running geoserver

I got geoserver to build today but it took a while because
1. The release instructions, while being clear don't follow a "normal" sequence of steps. So even when I was following them I failed... But as Justin pointed out, its nothing compared to releaseing uDig so I'm not going to complain.
2. web.xml was bad. A couple of open tags where commented out. But its all good. Justin and I got it running and I'm happy and having a good time !

Cheers,

Jesse

thanks guys, fun is just starting for me, very good news not having to deal
with a broken build!
I owe you a beer.

Thanks for your patience Jesse. You are one of the pioneers actually trying out the build system so you are going to have to put up with the docs while they mature.

GR: I will be taking you up on your offer in about 5 days.
