Hi,
many of the recent 1.6.x builds have failed because we are not running
a continuous gt2 2.4.x build. Every time I make a change on the 2.4.x
codebase the build fails for a day because nothing is updating
the jars on gridlock.
As long as we ship 1.6.x build I'd say we need a gt2 2.4.x continuous
build too.
I can try to set it up myself if someone points me at instructions
and gives me admin access on Hudson

I will add 2.4.x to hudson... i fear that two geotools builds is pushing it... but we will see :).
