Hello,
I cannot get geoserver 1.1.0 compiled. I downloaded it off the
geoserver site about 30 minutes ago, unzipped it and then tried to call
'ant war' but got many error messages. The source code is old/
incorrect.
For example, the ConfigInfo class calls 'wfsGlobal.getLogLevel()', but
the WFSConfig class has no method called 'getLogLevel()'. This is only
one example of the 100 errors I get when running 'ant war'.
Could you please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong or when you
will have the correct source code up on the web site?
Also, the documentation on the geoserver web site is all geared towards
1.0. Do you know when this will be updated to 1.1?
Thanks
Kirk

Where are you downloading it from? I've never seen this problem, and just
tried again from ibiblio and had no errors. Maybe one of the sourceforge
mirrors is messed up? Or maybe you have some old geoserver jars on your
classpath? Has anyone else had these errors with 1.1?

The website should be up to date. I redid the user docs, and made a few
minor updates to the devel ones (am planning on a big rewrite soon). The
documentation at
http://geoserver.sourceforge.net/documentation/user/install.htm is up to
date as far as I can tell - I didn't completely redo it, as much stayed
the same, but it now refers to services.xml and catalog.xml and not
configuration.xml

Chris:
This seemed to be a temporary problem as both Kirk and I can now correctly
compile the code.
