[Geoserver-devel] Cite wfs 1.0 on new engine not passing

Hi,
even the wfs 1.0 tests arent' passing on the new engine,
thought all failures are on the DescribeFeatueType call.
Not sure what the failure is thought, the error message
is not very informative. Justin, any idea?
If you log in with the geoserver account, it's 1.6.x-aa-wfs-1.0.0.

Cheers
Andrea

Sure... I will try to run the tests this morning and figure out what is
going on.

It appears the DescribeFeatureTypes on the engine are flawed. I
validated the resulting schema in every way possible and no problems
with it... and the tests all pass in the old engine. I am going to bring
this up on the cite list.

Test all pass? I had 7 transaction related failures yesterday
in the old test? Maybe I should rerun it...

Justin,

I understand this is a old thread. But just curious whether you got
GeoServer pass TEAM Engine test. If so, can I simply follow CITE test
tutorial to run TEAM Engine test (of course I need change the test site)?

Many thanks

Hi,

Yes GeoServer passes cite tests with teamengine, but only specific versions of it, and only with specific data stores in the back end.

For info about how to build the engine and tests:

http://svn.codehaus.org/geoserver/trunk/src/community/cite/README.txt

And about how to set up and configure geoserver:

http://gridlock.openplans.org/geoserver/1.7.x/doc/developer/cite-test-guide/index.html

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

-Justin
