The 2.11-beta release is scheduled for 18 February, so plan to get any commits you want in 2.11.0 merged on master before this date. Only bug fixes will be accepted on master during the code freeze, which lasts from the 2.11-beta release until the 2.11-RC release and the creation of the 2.11.x branch.
Important dates:
18 February: 2.11-beta release and start of code freeze on master
3 March: Release candidate 2.11-RC, creation of 2.11.x branch, and end of code freeze on master
18 March: Stable release 2.11.0
