Hi,
can anyone tell me what are the modules in 1.4.x/community
folder for and how they fit with the grand plan for the modularized
geoserver? I see they are still haven't been manen2-nized, too.

These are really just "experiments" resulting from me learning how to use Spring. They are somewhat useful in that they might serve as good usage examples so I decided to keep them around.
I would like to see the "community" space eventually serve the same function as the udig community space. Having some directoy space available will give people who want to experiment an easy way to tie into the build.
