Hi,
for a pilot experiment I’d like to have a community module adding support for restful get/put/delete style
operations in WMTS (operations to be secured, similar to WFS Transaction).
The operations would have cross language support and behave in a different way than the SLD 1.0 GetStyle.
As said, it would be an experiment, not sure it will a future, but still good to have the code shared where
others can jump in and evolve/support later, rather than keep it in a private repo iMHO.
Worst case, it will be removed later down the road.

+1 Any experimenting is welcome; I am curious as to what you have in mind (given our two examples of WMS GetStyle and the rest styles endpoint)I trust you can make some usability improvements.
Ah, as said it’s an experiment, I actually know the API is as implemented is problematic, but that’s the point, providing feedback of what works and what does not, so that
we don’t have to bend over backwards when a final API ends up in a standard. Hopefully some of the code might be reusable for later, if anything, a couple of
bug fixes came out of it
