Hi,
for anyone who's interested the control-flow module
has been committed in the community area and
can be build along with the rest of GeoServer if you
use the -Pcontrol-flow profile.
Once activated you can add the attached property file
to make some quick tests.
If you want to make sure the module is actually doing
its work you can add the following line to your
logging profile (usually DEFAULT_LOGGING.properties):
log4j.category.org.geoserver.flow=DEBUG
