[Geoserver-devel] data/release config and CSS

I am gearing up for a small adventure with data/release, mostly wanting it to serve as a good example for those starting out with GeoServer.

  1. In exploring CSW functionality I ran into a few layers in our data/release configuration that can use a description
  1. In talking with David Winslow I have an idea on how to improve the CSS Extension “out of box” experience with the addition of CSS styles
  1. Cut down the initial SRS List to improve our performance in benchmarks and make “default” GeoServer installs in the wild less trouble embarrassing:

I wanted to check in with the devel list to see if I missed anything. Justin advises updating the configuration using the GeoServer app and very carefully committing back
