Should we register GeoServer as a WFS 2.0.0 implementation with OGC?
This appears to be a matter of enumerating the conformance classes we claim to implement. Might need Justin's input, on return from his holiday.
Kind regards,
Ben.

*Subject:* [Tc] DGIWG seeks input on available WFS 2.0 client/server
implementationsDear OGC members,
The Defence Geospatial Information Working Group (DGIWG) is currently
working
on defining profiles for the OpenGIS Web Feature Service 2.0 Interface
Standard. In this context we are looking for available WFS 2.0 client and/or
server implementations. As WFS 2.0 is a modular specification, we are specifically interested in
the
conformance classes that are supported by the different implementations.Unfortunately the OGC "Implementations by Specification
<http://www.opengeospatial.org/resource/products/byspec>" site does not
provide this kind of information yet.For this reason the OGC Technology Office has set up a web form that
allows OGC members and non members
to register their WFS 2.0 products in a more fine grained manner and
update their product information with respect to:
- Product name
- Type (Client / Server)
- WFS 2.0.0 Conformance Classes supported (e.g. Basic WFS, Bindings:
HTTP Get, HTTP Post; Filter: ... )
- Link to websiteYou can find the web form under
http://external.opengeospatial.org/implements
Please note that you have to register first, as the register is not tied
to your OGC account.Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Carl
Reed, Greg Buehler or myself. Please use this opportunity to give your products the market visibility
they deserve! Many thanks and best regards,
Stefan--
