Please do not commit to 2.3.x until I have fixed a small release assembly problem.
Yes, we should no longer have a code freeze; this would be true if we had a Hudson geoserver-release-cite job that takes parameters (but Justin is busy enough as it is), and I do not want to have to rerun the cite test.
