Here is a quick summary (for Landon to take back to the incubation list):
- We have 8-10 issues to look at and take action on:
- Docs copyright is incorrect
- XMLSchemaTranslator and others generated by Refractions Research
- demo cities and TM_WORLD_BORDERS sample data needs license check
- TimePeriodTypeBinding and TimeSequenceTypeBinding from GeoTools LGPL
- Browser.java provided as LGPL
- RewindableInputStream borrowed from Xerces
- UCSReader under Apache 1.1 License
- GZIPResponseStream freely use commercially and non-commercially
- Mercator1SPGoogle assumed to be an LGPL file from GeoTools
In many cases (such as files using Apache License) we do not have to change anything, just double check we have included there requested disclaimer in our user docs.
- Missing Headers
We have 800+ missing headers:
- no obvious trouble here, adding the header should be fine
- a few exceptions (like Mecator1SPGoogle above) have been noted above
- Double check data that ships with the app

Commented on the Mecator1SPGoogle case, it was not coming from GeoTools, it was meant to go
there but was rejected.
