[Geoserver-devel] feedback on geoserver 1.6.4b from training course

So I have updated my training course for uDig to make use of a recent GeoServer ... and boy does open layers look bad. We were unable to get it to edit on any browser;
- firefox 3 - nope
- opera - very close; we could edit but got errors when saving
- internet explorer - nope

Is this actually a problem with geoserver 1.6.4? WFS-T is one of the things that makes GeoServer rock - so the demo should work :slight_smile:
Or should I take this to the #openlayers IRC channel?

Nope, it's really OL that has issues afaik. I have this jira
open about it:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1955

Afaik upgrading to OL 2.6 would solve the issue, but unfortunately
there are unsolved build issues for preparing the shrinked down
version of OL (like it's getting too big or something like that).
I would need some OL guy to look into it...

Cheers
