Hey all,
I have a module that's been sitting on my disk for a couple of months now; it allows uploading files and having GeoServer do some processing on them before storing them on disk to be served statically. I'm using it to support image attachments (+ thumbnail generation) for a user-annotated map like the one at http://artois.openplans.org/dev/annotation_demo/ and would like to commit it as a community module. I guess this would have 'community' status forever, since it's not really geo-related, but I imagine uploading files is a useful ability anyway. Unless anyone has any objections, I'll put this in community on trunk sometime soon.

Hi David,
+1 on adding the community module. If it turns out to be super useful and we want to turn it into an extension or something we can do something a bit more formal.
