Hi all,
As many of you may know a code sprint is being organized for foss4g 07. As for what to focus on for the sprint, one that has been brought up has been the current geotools feature model work.
By the time the conference hits the new feature model implementation will be on geootols trunk... but all client code (geoserver/udig/datastores) will still be working against the deprecated feature interfaces. So this would be an opportunity to rally the troops and update the code bases to work against the new geoapi interfaces.
Also... wrapped into this could be a switch over to the geoapi filter interfaces once and for all.
So what do people think about this? If people are game I can start a wiki page summarizing what we will be working on, who will be attending, etc...

+1 on this

Hem... releasing 2.4.0 without removing old filter usage in our code
gives me the shivers... I mean, we already screwed up once with 2.3.x,
I would like to make sure 2.4.0 is not worse (that is, neither the
new nor the old filters working properly).
So what do people think about this? If people are game I can start a wiki page summarizing what we will be working on, who will be attending, etc...
Sure.
Cheers

A wiki page was already started to understand who will attend. I feel it
would be very important to have a well structured page about a well
organised code sprint.
