[Geoserver-devel] Found Jekings builders locked up, restarted builds

Hi,
I was checking Jenkins to have a feeler about a Travis Java 11 failure (wanted to see if it
was happening on Jenkins too) and found all builds were stuck since August 1st:

Checking some builds, they seemed not to have been started at all…
The new builds do not seem to be doing any better, also stuck at the beginning:

Hmm… wondering if the builders are gone? Or maybe the disk space is depleted?

Cheers
Andrea

Or is there a month component in the build somewhere? Odd it occurred on the 1st

Not a disk space issue (and this is not likely to be an issue anytime soon) - only using 87G of 250G.
I restarted (and updated) the Jenkins service, and things seem to be running again. I’m still not sure what caused the initial failure, but I’ll keep an eye on it for a bit. Might have been some sort of deadlock or memory issue?

Cheers,
Torben

Dear all,
while checking Travis’ builds I found them failing immediately.

Could it be still the problem highlighted in this thread?

That looks like a standard maven error, nothing to do with Jenkins. Either the repository is offline or there is an error in the GeoServer POM file. Travis CI is showing the same failure: https://travis-ci.org/github/geoserver/geoserver
GeoTools seems to be building fine against the same repo, so most likely an error in the GeoServer POM.

Cheers,
Torben

The osgeo repo get’s updated on occasion, sadly the notice we get is in their “trac” instance and I do not check it frequently.
