A Simple demo of GADS coupled to Geoserver WCS is now available at:
http://lovejoy.nerc-essc.ac.uk:8080/geoserver/
This project has integrated GADS with Geoserver. The requests cause a slice to be extracted and a URL to download the data is returned. Please note that for time being, only XY slice of data can be extracted at a fixed depth level and timestep. The x extent is 841 while y-extent is 441. The downloaded data can be viewed using a netcdf data viewer such as ncBrowse.
The next version of this integration will provide better functionalities with the ability to define depth, time and different resolutions of data to be extracted. This will also include discussions we had about the WCS specification. A client application is also envisaged that will facilitate making such requests instead of manually modifying the get url.
