[Geoserver-devel] Gbeans

Hi,

I have a question, have anyone written their own custom GBean. I have
been looking into this now but have had no luck with this. Maybe some
could point me into the right direction or something.

Hi Clint,

I have played with GBeans before. The geronimo kernel was one of the candidate technologies for geoserver 1.4.x. Neat litle plugin system.

I wrote up some of my findings here.

Might be of some help however my example is farily naive. Also if you check out the geronimo source code there is a test module for the kernel and gbeans stuff. I found it a usefule source of examples of how to develop with gbeans.
