I just tried out the OS-X, the bin and the war, and all worked fine. I uploaded David's pdf artifacts, hopefully they should show up soon.
I'll do the announcements shortly.
The artifacts work fine on Windows Vista, the only issue I found is that the ng one performs the installation correctly but later there is no way to start the GeoServer service, but this should be a well known issue I guess.
I hadn't chance to try the .dmg artifact.
Regards,
Alessio.

Hi,
RC2 wise, here is an executive summary with the
short list of things I'd be glad to receive help on given
the day is over and tomorrow I'll be leaving for Sydney:
- pdf build failed. Don't know if it's the fault of my Latex
or if there is a real issue. We have no PDF docs
- people giving the artifacts a kick before we announce publicly
- announcements, on ml and blog
Any takers?
Cheers
Andrea
