[Geoserver-devel] GeoServer 2.10.2 artifacts available for testing

The GeoServer 2.10.2 artifacts are built and available for testing at: http://ares.boundlessgeo.com/geoserver/release/2.10.2/

Note that the *.exe and *.dmg artifacts are still building on their respective build machines, so if you want to test Mac or Windows you may have to wait a bit.

Any help testing is appreciated.
I will be trying out the .bin, and the .dmg when it is available.

Thanks,

Torben

The .bin looks fine.

There are some problems with the OS X and Windows build boxes, so those artifacts will be further delayed.
This will push the release back to sometime tomorrow.

The .dmg artifact now exists. I have tested it and it looks good.
The .exe is still on the way.

The geoserver-2.10.2.exe is now available. If anyone has a Windows machine they can test on, that would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Tested the DMG, works fine.

I am comparing the 2.10.2 and 2.11-beta DMG now to try and figure out why the beta is not starting up.

Checking over the blog post, it mentions YSLD moving to extension status.

Reviewing http://ares.boundlessgeo.com/geoserver/release/2.10.2/plugins/ I do not see the ysld module listed. We may need to mess with the release scripts.

I also note we will need to add a new layout.html for the website to correctly list any new extensions.

No need, it simply was not upgraded to supported status on 2.10.x, but only
on master.
See: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tree/2.10.x/src/extension
and compare with:

That looks to be an oversight on my part, as the GSIP was scheduled for
2.10.x, and the associated JIRA ticket is also marked for 2.10.2 (and
therefore shows up in the release notes). I guess I forgot to backport the
change from master.

Good catch Jody.

Jody

To address your other point, I have an updated version of layout.html for both >= 2.10.2 and 2.11.x that I will be committing shortly (Note that 2.11 also adds vectortiles as an extension in addition to ysld).

New 2.10.2 artifacts with YSLD plugin are up (except for windows)
