The GeoServer 2.16-RC artifacts are available for testing here.
The blog post is also available for review here.
Tested the system independant binary on OS X.
- I encountered one error on the status page - reported as GEOS-9311. The bug is fairly minor, so not a blocker for the RC, but would be nice to get fixed before 2.16.0.
- Aside: the new System Status tab is quite cool, although I did not know it was promoted to core rather than an extension - both the JIRA ticket and GSIP are mislabeled (the pull request does indicate core though, so I will assume this is correct). I have updated the blog post accordingly.
- Everything else seems to be in order.
I also verified the usermanual - versions and such appear to be updated correctly.
Proceeding with publish.
