Tested war download and a few extensions with latest tomcat. Everything seems in order.
I checked and the windows installer did not get built.

Thanks for working on this release Ian.

A couple thoughts for the release announcement.

• We should make a note that this release should be compatible with Java 17, and is intended to be the last release compatible with Java 8.

• We like to thank organizations funding new feature development - please send this information to Ian for the release announcement (I have already done so for GeoCat contributions)
