Windows 7 Install (background service)

  • working! (installed on fresh system)
  • uninstall - work folder still orphaned by uninstall (so some manual clean up is needed)

Windows 7 Install (manual start)

  • worked as expected
  • uninstalled cleanly

What NetFlow Analyzer can do for you? Monitors network bandwidth and traffic
patterns at an interface-level. Reveals which users, apps, and protocols are
consuming the most bandwidth. Provides multi-vendor support for NetFlow,
J-Flow, sFlow and other flows. Make informed decisions using capacity

I tested the platform-independent binary under OpenJDK 8u90 (8u91-b14-2 amd64) on debian/sid. Everything I tested worked fine (including a sampling of layer previews and demo requests). I also examined the -bin.zip and several plugins zip files and found nothing untoward (and no SNAPSHOT artifacts).

Looks good!

Kind regards,
Ben.

Tested war on tomcat 7 (7.0.52-1ubuntu0.3) on Ubuntu 14.04.04, initial tests look fine.

    GeoServer Version: 2.9.0
    Git Revision: 6243d46ec987248c7999873c5739b68c108bfa1d
    Build Date: 27-May-2016 19:18
    GeoTools Version: 15.0 (rev d18ecd3d875a9136f2644b29d1f28f7ec67a06db)
    GeoWebCache Version: 1.9.0 (rev 1.9.x/da85f628003fd1b6bbb28c393aaca41ab3938fe7)

Oracle Corporation: 1.8.0_91 (Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM), sun.dc.DuctusRenderingEngine

Checked that it starts up, GetCapabilities look to be OK, layer preview works.
Tried a reasonable number of demo requests – no issues noted.

No extensions / plugins tested yet.

Brad

Sorry for being late in the play.

I slightly amended the post to reflect andrea+ alessandro's help and I
also asked andrea to add a few more points which have been released
together with this release.
A quick suggestion, please, next time start a separate thread for the
blog post otherwise it is easy to overlook messages like this one in
an ongoing flow of discussion.

Thx everybody for the hard work towards 2.9!

Ouch yeah, I did see Devon's mail about the GeoTools draft, but totally
missed this one.
Oh well... I've updated the announcement with four new features that were
missing from it.

Cheers
