Hi all,
In geoserver, the values of the Boundingbox of the Editor FeatureTypes are calculated as? My SRS just only in Lat/Long? So, as I can use dataset in XY?
For example, if I have my dataset in system of coordinated in XY, how can define my boundingbox?
When I rendering my data, Boundingbox have to be in Lat/Long?
Thanks,
Vieira
When you request the data, you can specify a different projection for it to be rendered in. For example, many web apps use 4326 as their standard projection, so they will request the data (which may be in a different projection) as 4326 with a bounding box also in 4326, and get back the data in 4326 (reprojected).
Remember that the XY in standard lat/lon are measured in degrees.
I hope that answered your question.
