Brent removed configuration zips from svn and put them offsite, here
is his mail:

Hi everyone,
I have removed the configuration files for 1.5 from subversion, shrunk
them down and put them here:
http://sigma.openplans.org/geoserver-config/1-5/basic.zip
http://sigma.openplans.org/geoserver-config/1-5/cite.zip
http://sigma.openplans.org/geoserver-config/1-5/release.zip

The release is now back down to its normal size of around 35mb (not 85mb
like the last one was).

Note that this is probably just going to be temporary for a week or so
until we get the storage of all the configs sorted out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just a temporary issue, with GSIP 11 in place we'll be back
with configurations in svn for those who can afford downloading them

Cheers
Andrea

I just committed a change so the default configId is back to 'minimal'. (revision 5880)
So it should work from a fresh checkout now.

As far as I remember, the configuration zips are broken with respect
to shapefiles, the configured locations are not the ones actually
in the data dir.

Geoserver assumes as default data dir the webapp itself, yet the
shapefiles locations assume the data dir is webapp/data instead.
We'll fix this as soon as GSIP 11 is approved.

For the moment, go to the web administration panel and replace:
file:data/taz_shapes/tasmania_state_boundaries.shp
with
file:data/data/taz_shapes/tasmania_state_boundaries.shp

it should be working fine (and do the same with other shapefile locations, or, as an altenative, move the taz_shapes directory
one level above.

Cheers
Andrea
