[Geoserver-devel] GeoServer community extension for OpenLS services submission

Hi everybody,

after two years (please see my previous post of Jan 14th 2013) I'm here again to propose a new community extension to GeoServer code base: thanks to the Prato Municipality sponsorship (Comune di Prato, Regione Toscana, Italia) we developed the OpenLS services on top of GeoServer.

The project currently includes the ols, ols-OTP, ols-pgRouting, ols-RFC59, ols-SOLR, ols-SOLR-gclib and ols_web community modules and, as you can guess, is able to add geocoding, reverse geocoding and routing capabilities to GeoServerv based on SOLR, OpenTripPlanner and pgRouting.

Please take a look at the git repo: https://github.com/phoops/geoserver/tree/13D_CPO_TP2

I filed yesterday our Contributor License Agreement to OSGeo.

To integrate our modules in the current GeoServer code base, should I submit a pull request?

Thanks for your support.

Bye, UP

Welcome back, you caught us at a busy time with the 2.7 release being produced.

Have a look at our developers guide for how to set up a community module (or in your case several community modules).

I could not quite tell from your repository where to look … going to guess:

We tend to nest related work, for example extension/ogr contains ogr-wfs and ogr-wps
