Release issues
----------------------

- PDF docs not avaialble? Latex/Fonts missing

Action:
- JD: check on PDF docs

GeoTools Hack and Slash
--------------------------------------

unsupported modules:
shapefile-renderer -> bye bye
shapefile-ng (replace shapfile on master)
postgis-versioned -> bye bye (and WFS-V as well)

API churn:
- remove feature collection methods

gt-wps module:
- Jody is interested

gt-tile
- bring it back?

QGIS SLD support
- Jody was after natural eath, our SLD 1.1 is working and I cleaned up the rest
- Raster symbolizer replacement for colormap
- funding

Michael grid stuff too, someone have a look at it please

2.2.0-final and release schedule
------------------------------------------

2.2.0 in two weeks? Go for it unless there is any new blocker
Release schedule table in confluence, PSC ensures the list is populated and followed

Q: Where to find beta testers? GeoServer testing team did not fly :frowning:

Action item:
- create the table in confluence AA
- figure out different branch strategy for releases, try out the branch, commit, push, tag, kill branch approach JD

GeoTools 8.1
-------------------
Balance between -Dall (used by downstream apps) vs what has passed QA.

Action:
- Jody to deploy remaining -Dall 8.1 GeoTools modules
- Jody download from source forge and try a local build
- Jody to do the release anouncement (jira check)

uDig 1.3.2
----------------

Good to go, 8.1 release, docs migrated to sphinx

CSW status
-----------------

Trade off betten list of objects vs feature.
Probably sticking to features

Filter is known to work with both (via property accessors).

Initial implementation similar in spirt to property datastore (ie plain text).
Performance not covered - with funding consider solution (hsql or postgres etc...).

Scope check:
- Harvest? not in scope
- Transaction? not in scope

Next meeting: Monday 17 September 2012, 13:00 UTC

Done. I also note that the description of meetings (weekly IRC, mandatory) is woefully out-of-date. Updating the policy should be on the agenda for the next meeting.
