Hello,
For a demo I want to use GeoServer together with PostgreSQL 8.0 beta 3 / PostGis 0.9.0.
Does anyone have experience using this configuration? Is it advisable (or not)? Are there problems to be expected?
Thanks in advance,
Steven

I haven't tried it out yet myself, but I don't anticipate any problems.
Postgres and PostGIS both seem to be pretty good about making things
backwards compatible. You should download the latest jdbc jar from:
http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download.html - pgdev.306.jdbc3.jar (jdbc 3
+ 8.0). And use that to replace the jdbcPostgres.jar in lib/
(geoserver/WEB-INF/lib of an installed geoserver). Please let us know
if you have success, I don't think anyone has tried it out yet.
best regards,
Chris
Thanks in advance,
Steven
