we were thinking a bit about adding SOAP support aside to the existing REST
interface in GeoServer.
The idea is to add single services for each of the main object handled by the
catalog (namespaces, datastores, featuretypes, coveragestore, ...), where
each service would offer some basic DAO-like functionalities.
Any idea/comment about it?
