Hi,
Can please anyone provide me with a url to trigger the geoserver
catalog/config reload process on a localhost?
Can't extract the request from reload-button in WEB-GUI as it seems to
be capsuled.
I don't want to restart the whole tomcat when new featureTypes get
installed - just reload with a curl request automatically.
Cheers
Rudi
Hi,
This one seems to do the job:

You can use the REST configuration to do that.
Btw, I’m assuming you are adding layers configurations directly on disk
building the xml files by hand? That is not supported, the disk format
can change in time without warnings.
If you use the REST configuration calls instead you can add layers
in a supported way, and you won’t even need to reload the configuration,
as the changes will take effect immediately
See: http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/restconfig/index.html
