Hey all, I just branched geoserver, so that 1.2.x is now on a branch,
which means we can go ahead and start 1.3 work on head in full force. I
imagine we'll have a few beta releases as we re-architect stuff for styles
and rasters and reprojecting and all the fun stuff we've got planned. If
you have any interest in helping out please let us know, there's lots to
do. Check the 1.3 jira for starters:
http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&sorter/order=DESC&sorter/field=priority&resolutionIds=-1&pid=10311&fixfor=11130
The 1.2 branch is available at
http://svn.refractions.net/geoserver/branches/branch_1_2_*/ I ran into a
problem with subversion where it didn't like the ending * (next time I'll
use an x), but if you go one level down, to geoserver, it works fine, so
the command is
svn co
http://svn.refractions.net/geoserver/branches/branch_1_2_*/geoserver
I'm going for a 1.2.4 release next week, I think I got all the bug fixes
in, I just have to pound out my user docs redo, and we should be good. I
think it will be a nice release.
Gabriel - I didn't have time to update the 2.1 geotools jars, so if you
(or anyone) wants to do that go for it. Just build the latest gt2 (or
better yet get them from the nightly build and in the upload log mark what
date they were from) and put them in the lib/ I don't think there should
be too much problem building. And then just commit them. If you don't
have time for this I'll do it early next week. I just know that you had
some issues that you wanted it upgraded for, which is why I spent the time
this week getting the bug fixes in and doing the branch. If you want to
wait no worries at all, I'm happy to do it.
best regards,
Chris
It's all updated with yesterday's jars (built locally). I added some
DataStores, the required additional jars (experiment is needed for
validation), and the WMS jar (not sure if you want to make it a
cascading WMS). If I forgot any DataStores, apologies.
