I would be interested in being part of this committee as a user (cant
guarantee to keep out of the code though, especially geotools). I have
been using Geoserver since 2008 and I am responsible for our largest
front-facing website (http://data.gns.cri.nz/pbe) although geoserver is
used to power other smaller projects. I have also installed it for other
institutions and I am keenly interested in its future direction.

+1 from me for Phil, who has been active on the user list. According to my archive, 87 emails over two years, including interactions with both other users and developers. Phil has also lodged nine Jira issues.

Ciao a tutti,
first of all one personal observation. My understanding was that we
were going to have 1 power user in the PSC and as such I voted a
straight +1 on Jukka and a -1 on Christian.
Now, I feel slightly uncomfortable with that -1 I gave as it sounded a
bit rude (although I do believe that being part of the PSC was a bit
early for Christian).
With all this in mind, I would say that Phil is +1 as well as I see
him very active not only in the GS lists but also on the OL ones,
which is, IMHO, a plus.

Note that when Phil is in Dunedin (New Zealand), he will be two hours ahead of you, and the PMC/PSC meeting will start at his 01:00!
Phil, attending these meetings is not required. If you are a serious night-owl, insomniac, or travelling in a different time-zone you are welcome to attend; otherwise, feel free to raise issues / agenda items on this list.
Kind regards,
Ben.
