Did any of you had made some investigation about geoserver websocket support. I may be interested in development of some kind of WS plugin on geoserver and ol3 side too. Do you have some idea or something to share about this development?

Just saw your query, thought of the sharing my thesis work I had done couple
of years back for using web sockets in GeoServer and OpenLayers for realtime
vehicle position visualization.
