As far as I know there were no changes between 1.5-beta and 1.5.0, although
Kevin can confirm. Regardless I would think that 2.4.x should change 1.5.0
or 1.5-SNAPSHOT.

Both are master and 2.4.x now using gwc 1.5.0; I am comfortable with having a snapshot dependency on master, but I would like to avoid it on stable.

Kind regards,
Ben.

Justin,

another issue that came up at Monday's meeting is the CITE test breakage and lack of triggers for the jobs. I have been kicking them manually but still encountering some failures (looks like a Jenkins problem not a config). Also do you have any opinion about the best approach for triggering (see below)?

Kind regards,
Ben.

Agreed, I would say hold off moving to a snapshot until it is necessary to
do so due to active development of gwc and geoserver that needs to happen
in conjunction.

Kind regards,
Ben.

Yeah, I noticed the cite jobs are failing, my guess is that i didn’t set up the new server properly. It is on my list to look into. I’ll try to do that soon in the next few days.

As for the job trigger, i would say a simple nightly trigger should do?

Agreed. We had a bad time with Gabriel and Kevin away, but with their active engagement we should be able to address any integration problems that arise from master depending on a GWC SNAPSHOT.

Kind regards,

That would be great! CITE failures are blocking the release train; I hope to release GT 10.1 on Wednesday (my tomorrow, your day after tomorrow) and GS 2.4.1 on Thursday, with announcements on Friday as scheduled.

Yes, please! release manager can always kick as required. A regular nightly trigger will keep us honest.

Well folks are also encouraged to run the tests locally as well. All it
takes is cloning this repo:

  https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver-cite-tools

And following the instructions in the readme.

I am seeing some issues on the build server with the wfs-1.1 tests... they
seem to be hanging at the end of the test run. Will try to dig deeper
tomorrow.

Triggers set.

Right, there were no changes from 1.5.0-beta to 1.5.0-final.
