Importer discussion (on how to import from a directory or ftp site) seems to be settled down.
GeoSolutions has an anouncement on editing app-schemas (repurpose mappping editor for INSPIRE so it can generate app-schema configuration):

Jody is working on some geoserver-devel docs.
Andrea was looking at restoring GeoServer 1.7.x functinality allowing a CQL
MongoDB, there was interest from the mailing list:
- GeoTools has an older AbstractDataStore based one
- Boundless has a ContentDataStore implementation (no license, no copyright headers)

Kevin produced a fun command line to bulk update headers on modified files:
sed -i 's/\(([cC])\) 2014 Open Source Geospatial Foundation/\1 2014 - 2015 Open Source Geospatial Foundation/' $(git diff-tree --no-commit-id --name-only -r HEAD)
You can use this on your feature branch before issuing a pull request. Your mileage may vary.
