I noticed while trying to fix build breakage that, since GEOS-6265, geoserver master now uses GWC 1.5-SNAPSHOT. Are we going to make and use a 1.5.1 for the release?

Yes, that is the plan, I just got blocked mid air by the geotools release
failing

If you can't wait until tomorrow there are two courses of action:
* revert the commit, I'll cherry pick it again when things get un-blocked
* build the 1.5.x gwc branch locally for today

No urgency at all; just curious. I was just troubleshooting a build failure and noticed it. (The cause was gt 11-beta, which you have already fixed.)
I turned on my group geowebcache-1.5.x CI to ensure we have fresh snapshots.
