[Geoserver-devel] GeoWeCache update

Status Report and update on GeoWebCache for the week ending on August 1st, 2008

This week I:
-finished the design of the multithreaded seeding mechanism. I still need to implement the doSeed() method that actually does it, all esle is in place.
-spent the better part of the week merging the code on my branch with trunk. It was tedious work with huge diffs. I have almost completed this.
-added a revision to trunk that uses the redesigned TileLayer and WMSLayer classes and reads the configuration from xml.

Over the weekend and early next week I will continue mergeing the RESTful api code to the trunk and implement the rest of the seeding stuff. after that i will most likey start working on the JavaScript client.

Cheers,

Marius Suta
