[Geoserver-devel] GetMapProducer api change on 1.5.x?

Hi all,

I notice the api for GetMapProducer has changed on 1.5.x. It appears
that the methods setContentType and setOutputFormat have been added.
This seem to differ from the previous api in which producers declare
these things.

Not sure if i missed any discussion on this issue. For now i am simply
throwing UnsupportedOperationException for these methods. Is this the
intended behavior.

I think these are changes Simone introduced to be able and support
png8 and tiff8 and... no, there hasn't been any discussion :frowning:
Afaik they are necessary to have the same class emit multiple
content types and work with multiple output formats.
