[Geoserver-devel] GSIP 119 - Hazelcast based distributed status store available

Hi,
I’ve just made the Hazelcast based statu store available in this pull request (which
is cumulative, since the base refactor pull request is not merged yet):

There are a few things of interest in that implementation, in particular how the distributed
queries are performed via the Criteria API, or how the removal of stale entries is
performed on the cluster without having to load the data in a single node, but using an entry processor
instead

Again, let me know if you want to review. Nobody responded to the WPS basic refactor one (not
even to just state a desire to review), I’m going to merge it tomorrow if I don’t hear anything.

Thank you for the feedback, the commit in the pull request was updated to
handle it.

I was particularly intimidated by the results paging code. That is a really
nasty combination of cases!

And your comment made me revisit it, because it was not correctly handling
all cases yet. More complete, scarier than ever code is also in the updated
pull request

I tried building the MBTiles plugin (after trying to build the GeoPackage
plugin), and it isn't compiling.

The problem is a call to WPSStorageCleaner::getStorage() which no longer
exists after GSIP 119.

Is the right fix to use the WPSResourceManager::getOutputResource() (or
getTemporaryResource() for intermediate files)?

Yeah, that was a hack to get the StoreCoverage process going back at the
time.
I've hopefully fixed both, although I wish these processes would simply
use the raw data output support we added this year (doing so would change
their external interface though).
