[Geoserver-devel] GSIP-154 - Promote YSLD Styling module from Community to Extension

Hello All,

I am hoping to promote gs-ysld to a supported module. See GSIP-154 for more details.

I will be working with Matt Kruszewski for this proposal.
This is being done in conjunction with a similar migration in the GeoTools project.

Kevin - you have served as the maintainer for this module in the past. Are you willing to continue this when it gets moved to Extension status?
I am also quite familiar with the GeoServer portion of the ysld module, and would be willing to be the module maintainer for gs-ysld.

Torben

Hi Torben,
+1 for the graduation (trusting that there is going to be a maintainer)

Cheers
Andrea

Reading the proposal; to bring it up to parity with SLD and CSS we would need a YSLD cookbook. Could be filed under future work…

Good suggestion on the cookbook Jody. Boundless has a YSLD cookbook (adapted from the SLD cookbook) that they are willing to donate. I was able to drop it in-place fairly simply, and the formatting still looks good.
