Hi,
well, two weeks passed and I guess we won't get more feedback.
So ok, now thanks to Holl I have some implemented example to follow
for the evolution of the framework, and a softawre I can point people
at to security enable clients without the need to change/upgrade them
(which is very cool).
Yet, GSIP 16 scope is much small, it's about having an initial
implementation that allows WFS versioning to be fully implemented,
and to start playing with security, but leaving the door open for a full
fledged solution when the time, interest and resources are there to
implement it.
Would you be ok in allowing the initial implementation to land onto
trunk? (I mean, the one that's described in the prototype section
of the docs and implemented in the acegi branch).
Here is my +1
Cheers
Andrea
+1. And the link for the GSIP is at: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/GSIP+16+-+Security+subsystem
I added links to discussions, wikis, and added voting history section.
